Auto-authentication and UserID/Password Login

Use to login to WilsonWeb with any of the following:

TCP/IP Address—the address ranges must be given to Technical Support in
advance.

Referring Web Page—this should only be accessible to valid users; the URL(s) must be given to Technical Support in advance.

User Cookie—this can be set on public stations using the Administration
system.
Direct UserID/Password Login
To bypass auto-authentication and go directly to UserID/Password login,

Login with PatronID (Library Barcode)
Login to WilsonWeb with a library card number. The library card range must
be given to Technical Support in advance.

Login via Athens and Shibboleth
This option is only available to WilsonWeb subscribers from Athens
institutions. The Athens Organization ID must be given to Technical
Support in advance. Login is not required if you have already logged into
Athens.

Shibboleth (See the WilsonWeb Administrator’s Module for Shibboleth
access information)
Shibboleth authentication choices have been added (primarily for European
customers). They can now select between the UK Federation and SWITCHaai
affiliations.
